The Boy Who Had Allergies

Look at this poor child. Three weeks of suffering ensued before we finally decided that something was definitely wrong and got him into the doctor. You see, he had a cold about a month ago, so we figured that the resulting itchy nose, watery eyes, and ticklish throat issues were a byproduct of the cold. However, it didn't clear up, and in fact continued to get worse. Look at these red and watery eyes! The last couple of weekend's photos are awful, he looks so worn down and out of it. Neither Nic nor I have allergies, nor have we had any experience with allergies in our families, so it came as a surprise to us that our son needs to take Claritin once daily during the spring and fall for sure, and at any other time that he exhibits symptoms. Poor boy. Two days on and he is doing so much better.

I apologise in advance for the following break in posting due to our upcoming trip home to San Diego. Kel and I will be gone for 3 1/2 weeks. I am ready for a break in the sunshine and it is of course always lovely to see my family and friends. The culmination of our trip is my sister's wedding at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on December 9th. We fly home from Vegas the next day. I shall post again with photos and news after our return.

You don't know how badly I wanted to push the button that activates the "spitting fish" function!
