Yes, we're at that stage of the San Diego visit where we're doing favourite activities for the second or third time. And that's what I love about these trips. A four year old doesn't have the stamina to do everything in one go, but we don't have to worry about that. We're able to enjoy our outings to the fullest, knowing that we can come back again in a few days and catch anything that we missed this time around. And then we can come back yet again to hit the absolute favourites. This is vacation heaven for the parent of a young child. Relax, enjoy, and take it at their pace. I get to relive my own childhood through Kel's eyes (since this is where I grew up and these are the things that I grew up doing). I love every minute.
And so, here we are, back at Seaworld for the second time this week. This is Kel's new favourite photo of himself. He cracks up every time that he sees it. Notice the beluga behind his left ear. Try not to notice the goofy face!
This shot reminds me a lot of a prior meeting with the belugas. Three years ago. Hard to believe.
I think that we may almost have the entire Seaworld stuffed friend collection at this point. I hope.
The Penguin Encounter.
Funny mirror in the Bay of Play area.
I call this my "Quick, there's a whale behind you, look at the camera and smile!" photo series. I also call it the "Darn this new camera I can't figure out how to over ride the flash setting in medium light" so the photos came out funky and badly exposed photo series. Must figure that out. In the meantime, here's Kel and Shamu!
And of course an obligatory shot of jumping whales. It wouldn't be Seaworld without the jumping whales.

I love that first photo of Kellan. That is one to keep at the office for times that you need a pick me up! Hilarious!
We received Kel's postcard today. Olivia says thanks and that she "loves every single animal on the postcard" - espcially the seal.
