And so we were back at Seaworld again today. If you had a Seaworld pass, a sunny hot day, and an empty schedule, where would you go? I thought so!
We took the Skyride across the bay today as a special treat. The view was gorgeous. The mountains on one side, the city to our south, and behind us, the Pacific Ocean, as far as the eye could see. Not to mention one very happy Skyride loving boy.
We also managed to get into some of the aquariums that we'd missed so far this trip. There is so much to see and do at Seaworld. Things like the aquariums get left until last, but he loves watching the fish and naming his favourites.
For me, there is no contest. I love the cow fish. He even came to give me a big smooch!
We brought handfuls of quarters today for Kel to use in "shooting" people. You put a quarter in, wait for the next raft to round the corner (on the Shipwreck Rapids ride), and then soak the heck out of the unsuspecting riders. Kel always adds a friendly little wave after the drenching. Just to rub it in.
Grandma and Kel back on the spinny ride.
Wild Arctic is chilly. There is real ice! Not that we'll be strangers to that after our dreaded return to the Midwest next weekend.
Some more, "Hey, there's a whale behind you -- smile!" shots.
In the end, he just gets cheeky.
One of the signature Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales. Huge.
