My best friend from childhood, Ryan, and his new son, Ian, born in mid April, due in July. He's doing well. We're all thinking strong thoughts for him. Please spare a kind thought or prayer for our little Ian.

Ryan and I have been best friends since we were 4 years old. His little sister then became the best friend of my little sister and still is. We have all remained very close.
Ian is doing well. He's gaining weight and sometimes is off the ventilator. His mother is pumping, so he's getting the best nutrition available. They're finally able to hold him as of this week. He's due to go home from hospital at the end of June or early July. Its going to be a long haul yet.
