The Ostrich Ranch

While spending a fun weekend in the Sierra region with Auntie, we visited the Indian Point Ostrich Ranch in beautiful (and slightly chilly!) Tehachapi.



We got to feed the ostrich! Ostriches? Is "ostrich" plural? I should really look that up. Anyway, we got to feed them. These guys were babies, didn't even have their adult feathers yet. They were eight months old and already this tall (Kel is standing on a stool).




Had to include this one because it is Kel's favourite. He loves the silly ostrich face.
